China’s Xi describes Putin as his “best friend” during the visit Russia

Chinese President Xi Jinping is in a three-day visit to Moscow, the capital of Russia. Russia and China have focused on trade and relations between the two countries. During the visit, Chinese President mentions Russia’s Vladimir Putin as his “best friend”.

Mainly, this visit holds as China-US trade relation has turned into a battle.

The two leaders have made some trade deals and Xi Jinping brought two pandas for the Moscow Zoo as a gift.

The Chinese president arrived in Moscow on Wednesday and later in a press conference said that he had a “deep personal friendship” with Russian President.

Mr. Xi told

“In the past six years, we have met nearly 30 times. Russia is the country that I have visited the most times, and President Putin is my best friend and colleague.”

Mr. Putin also praised Mr. Xi saying that he was

“pleased to say that Russian-Chinese relations have reached an unprecedented level. It is a global partnership and strategic cooperation.”

Both countries have been being united because they feel alienated by Europe and especially by the US. During the visit, both sides promised to deepen military and economic cooperation in the future.
