Chrome is launching the play button on the browser toolbar to stop the automatically playing of videos and songs when entering different websites. With the help of a feature called ‘Global Media Control’, it is possible to turn off the website directly from the toolbar if one is not interested in watching the video or advertisement of the website. If you want to turn it back on you can do that.
This can be done for one or more websites that are opened in the browser. That means you can turn off the toolbar when the video is being opened on other websites that are open while browsing another website. Chrome is already testing the functionality of the feature in their developer version. If everything is OK, the Chrome authority will launch the icon in the toolbar soon.
