The US government has recently issued an alert warning that Chinese made Drone can be harmful to American businesses and other organizations who use them.
In the notice, it is added that those who use the flying aircraft for tasks which are related to national security or critical infrastructure were mostly at risk.
But the warning didn’t mention to a specific company.
Market-leader DJI said that it had taken the necessary steps to keep secure its client data.
The firm said in a statement that “We give customers full and complete control over how their data is collected, stored, and transmitted.”
It also added that “For government and critical infrastructure customers that require additional assurances, we provide drones that do not transfer data to DJI or via the internet, and our customers can enable all the precautions DHS [Department of Homeland Security] recommends.”
Yuneec another bestselling Chinese manufacturer company said that it gives the full control of their data to its customers. This is not the first time that the US has raised its concerns. Previously, in August 2017 the US Army banned troops from using DJI’s drones as it didn’t specify the cyber-security concerns.
